Over 100,000 explore Melbourne Open House

Founder of Open House London, Victoria Thornton is currently in Australia where this weekend she celebrated the third successful Melbourne Open House, along with over 100,000 other visitors. Speaking at the launch event and discussing Open House Worldwide, there was plenty to do, along with visiting the 75 buildings taking part, including a variety of contemporary, historic and sustainable architecture. Open House in recent years have taken off around the world, giving the public an opportunity to better appreciate the architecture, urban design and built environment of their cities for free.
