Open House Mexico City
21-22 April 2018

During the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of April, Open House CDMX will provide free access to 100 buildings of great architectural value. Amongst the buildings that will be participating are cultural centres, schools, private houses, offices, governmental buildings, infrastructure and those of industrial use. The aim of the event is to bring people closer to their local architecture, to show them the value and importance of the built environment and to learn to appreciate architecture individually and as part of the city. OpenHouseCDMX will feature great buildings of all periods by architects such as Luis Barragán, Manuel Tolsá, Mario Pani and Antonio Rivas Mercado, and will give special emphasis on the restoration and repurposing of great buildings.
