Que[e]rbau stands for openness towards people, who have independently developed and defined their own identity and their particular path in life. Openness to queer life choices such as alternative family groups, whether lesbian, gay, bi, trans, inter, queer …, openness to the wish for diverse neighbourhoods, openness to joy in fellow residents of any and all kinds of origins speaking in different languages, openness which allows everyone to belong and to fully participate in society and in life.
