About Open House Miami

Open House Miami, produced by the Miami Center for Architecture & Design (MCAD), is a free public festival celebrating Miami’s built environment. The event will highlight cities and neighbourhoods throughout Greater Miami area, including Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Opa Locka, Wynwood, Design District, the Redland, and more. Experiences will include self-guided walks, behind-the-scenes tours, and exploration of specific themes, including historic preservation, open spaces and parks, resiliency efforts, South Florida culture, and more.

The two-day festival will also include a wide variety of talks and workshops, plus tips for exploring the best places for shopping, dining, and fun! Whether a resident or visitor, this event will be an opportunity to learn about Miami’s history, built environment, and vibrant culture.
