OPEN HOUSE BILBAO
BILBAO, SPAIN
1 - 2 OCTOBER

Open House Bilbao developed its 6th edition around the theme “the city of the senses.” The festival’s innovative programme includes activities that invite visitors to reflect on how we see, touch, hear, smell, and taste the city and how senses can evoke a moment, a memory, or an experience that may have been forgotten. The catalog of more than 60 buildings includes a broad vision of the city’s architecture, including Tayko Hotel, Palacio Ibaigane, Casa Aburto, Palacio Euskalduna, and Biblioteca Foral de Bizkaia.

OPEN HOUSE BUENOS AIRES
BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
1 - 2 OCTOBER

To mark its 10th anniversary, Open House Buenos Aires explores 10 distinct themes at the intersection of architecture and the city including “Future Heritage,” a collaboration with the Buenos Aires Architecture Biennale, which opens doors to new buildings transforming the city; and “Socio-Urban Integration,” which reflects projects that embody the three fundamental pillars of the politics of transformation: participation, sustainability, and respect for the cultural identity of each neighbourhood. The festival also includes several new modernist classics like the recently refurbished "Viviendas para artistas y locales comerciales" by Bonet, López Chas & Vera Barros; Houses in Tres Sargentos street by Sanchez, Lagos & De La Torre; and the national TV building "Argentina Televisora Color.”
