The inaugural edition of Open House Maputo features 20 buildings aiming to represent the diverse history, architectural style, and cultural heritage of the city. This is a unique opportunity to visit two schools in the city: Escola Nyoxani and Escola Secundaria da Polana. And don't miss the impressive and majestic church Igreja de Santo António da Polana, better known as the lemon squeezer for its inverted flower shape, designed by architect Nuno Craveiro Lopes.

This year’s Open House Osaka festival displays 138 buildings, and the official guidebook is available to visitors in bookshops and online. The 2022 edition pays special tribute to the 130th anniversary of Obayashi Corporation, one of the biggest construction companies in Japan, established in Osaka in 1892. During the festival weekend, both the former and present head office buildings and many other buildings constructed by the company will open their doors to the public.

Open House Seoul's 2022 programme focuses on public architecture buildings such as schools, fire stations, and shelters. Visit the site of the Dangin-ri Power Plant to learn about how this industrial facility will be transformed into a new cultural space, as designed by architect Min-suk Cho. If you can't make it to Seoul, watch the video made about Seojin School, which will be published online on the first day of the festival.
