OPEN HOUSE TAIPEI
TAIPEI, TAIWAN
11-12 NOVEMBER

“What kind of city do we hope Taipei will become?” Open House Taipei is a platform for residents to engage in conversations about their concerns and aspirations for their city.

This year’s festival is especially focused on environmental symbiosis and sustainable architecture. It includes tours of major water infrastructure projects like the Chihtan Water Purification Plant and the Caoshan Water System; community-centred spaces like the Taipei Women’s Center and the Bopiliao Tree House that are friendly to diverse ethnic groups; green-certified buildings like the Ministry of Transportation’s Highway Bureau and the Hung Kuo Building.

OPEN HOUSE MALAGA
MALAGA, SPAIN
17-19 NOVEMBER

Open House Malaga offers visitors three ways to connect more deeply with the city. Architect-led tours of buildings like Teatro Echegaray give participants a behind-the-scenes look at how the city is shaped. Themed guided walks exploring various urban areas, from neighbourhoods with rich cultural heritage like Soho to newly redeveloped public spaces, provide insight into large-scale urban design projects. And special experiences like Un Oasis para la Salud Mental (an oasis for mental health) invite a deeper reflection of how architecture and landscape influence people's well-being.

OPEN HOUSE THESSALONIKI
THESSALONIKI, GREECE
18-26 NOVEMBER

Open House Thessaloniki's main event, "Open Tours", is a two-day celebration of the city's public and private, modern and historic architecture on 25 and 26 November. Tours in English are available in all buildings part of the festival.

This year's motto, "building futures together," pays a special nod to sustainability. The festival aims to highlight bioclimatic architecture and its importance in the quality of life of all residents. The entire programme will be revealed in mid-November.

Can't wait until the big weekend? Join OHT on 18 and 19 November for "Made in Thessaloniki" — tours of creative and production spaces — and "Open Walks" — thematic urban walks that explore lesser-known aspects of the city.
