Open House Nicosia (OHN), organised by the NGO “Voices of the City – Open House Nicosia”, is a public festival that offers guided tours of architecturally significant buildings alongside a curated programme of parallel activities across Nicosia.
As part of the 2026 edition, 40 buildings will open their doors to the public, transforming the city into a living museum of architecture. The programme extends beyond the historic walled city into surrounding districts and neighbourhoods, showcasing the diverse urban fabric of the capital, from historic residences and listed heritage landmarks to contemporary offices, cultural institutions, and innovative workspaces.
In addition to guided tours, the festival features thematic architectural and cultural walks, as well as a photography competition that invites participants to capture their own perspective of Nicosia’s urban landscape. All activities are offered free of charge, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and public engagement.
