About Open House Taipei

The capital city of Taiwan, Taipei is one of the most densely populated cities in the world.

As one of the most inclusive and diverse cities in Asia, Taipei's abundant and complex historical, cultural and architectural context present compelling divergences throughout the city. The scope of Open House Taipei's event is to reveal the everyday agents that fuel life in Taipei. Every November, Open House Taipei will exhibit over 70 of the most spectacular spaces to the public, free of admission, covering the full spectrum of Taipei's built-environment; from private owned housing and studios to government owned apartments, from micro scale spaces to macro scale projects, and from places that people pass everyday to those spaces that people only go to on specific occasions.

Open House Taipei welcomes everyone to visit Taipei, to experience Taipei's fascinating urban vibe. We offer a platform that aims to initiate conversations and interactions between space owners, visitors, those in the design field, and government officials that imprint a lasting impact on the city's aesthetics.
