Coming soon: Hong Kong, Taipei and Thessaloniki
OPEN HOUSE HONG KONG
HONG KONG
22-23 & 29-30 NOVEMBER
Building on last year's successful inaugural edition, Open House Hong Kong returns with the theme "What Makes a Good City?", which explores the diverse elements that contribute to a liveable and vibrant urban environment. New additions include the M+ Research Centre, Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre, the Tsui Ping River project, and University Hall. Curated walking routes highlight neighbourhood stories, from design discoveries in Sham Shui Po to public art along the Tuen Mun River, and Dialogues and Open Crit that encourage constructive discussions on architecture and urban design.
OPEN HOUSE TAIPEI
TAIPEI, TAIWAN
22-23 NOVEMBER
This year’s edition of Open House Taipei embraces the Open House Europe theme “Future Heritage — Inheritance & Renewal” through four lenses—City Memory, Creative Enclaves, Resilient Sustainability, and Housing-as-Generative—linking preservation with new civic uses. Over the 48-hour weekend and a month-long programme, more than 100 rarely accessible places open their doors across Taipei, inviting the public to rediscover the relationship between architecture and everyday life. Highlights include guided routes through New Garden Village; Dadaocheng Old Houses; and the Chengzhong (Old City) district; as well as the Asia Four City Forum connecting Taipei with Osaka, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

OPEN HOUSE THESSALONIKI
THESSALONIKI, GREECE
22-23 NOVEMBER
The theme of this edition of Open House Thessaloniki is “Future Heritage: today’s architecture, tomorrow’s legacy”. Over one weekend, the programme will offer opportunities to explore more than 70 buildings and join free guided tours led by volunteers, alongside parallel events such as Made in Thessaloniki, Open Walk, Open School, and Open Office, as well as creative contests Open Photo and Open Your Map. The programme also includes a special focus on the city’s industrial heritage, access to restored landmarks and innovative contemporary projects, and a closing celebration that brings the public together around Thessaloniki’s evolving architectural identity.
